I had not been there for many years and the ground has been improved immeasurably. New fencing around the pitch and the site, a new prefabricated seated stand and to cap it all a 3G pitch. The whole pitch seems to have been levelled and the new pitch is a vast improvement on the original one which tended to get boggy. I saw Cambridge City play,
Always enjoy a game of non-league football and the game against Stamford was no different. Shame St Ives lost 4-1 after taking the lead but Stamford were the better team. Plenty of free parking nearby. Astroturf pitch which they share with a ladies team and Cambridge City. Good sized stand at one end of the ground, decent facilities and prices. One of the many reasons why I would rather watch non-league football these and don't get me started on that subject. Support your local team.
Really nice friendly club, both players and staff are warm and welcoming, clubhouse itself is a bit rundown but nothing a coat of paint wouldn’t fix but their priority is obviously the team itself so fully understand.
Great little non-league ground. Good facilities, plenty of free parking, good clubhouse with a decent selection of beers. Shame we lost☹️☹️ Good luck in the FA Trophy. 😊
