We went to Scarborough v Southport game while here on holiday. Parked just down from stadium, plenty of free spaces. We visited the vlub shop and bought home & away strips. As we're Kilmarnock Fc fans we also enjoy visiting local teams whilst on holidays. We got our tickets online before arriving on holiday so used QR code at gate. Wee good van serving hot and cold foods/drinks. Plenty of toilet facilities and bar for having a pint watching game. Atmosphere within the ground was good, unfortunately Scarborough were beaten 2-1 on ghe day but it was great to watch. Would definitely be back again.
I visited Scarborough Athletic for a Tuesday night fixture. It is a reasonable experience however all the Scarborough home games are segregated. The matches should be segregated if the visiting fanbase has a hostile reputation. My club Curzon judges away fans on merit. This means away fans cannot enter the club bar and are forced to drink at local pubs. The traveling Curzon fans on the night didn't exceed 20. The rule has probably been enforced due to previous away fans trouble . They played Geordie side Dunston in the FA Cup recently and due to segregation the home fans missed out on interaction with a passionate loyal fans. Scarborough need to review this policy.
I’ve been to a few games since moving to the area, ground actually has some character and a good atmosphere which for a new stadium is not easy to achieve. Stewards were helpful in resolving a query I had. Supporters are friendly and there’s a real family atmosphere.
There is a bar in the main stand which everyone can access, there is also a little club shop selling hats, scarves and shirts etc.
Flamingo Land Stadium in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England, is the home ground of Scarborough Athletic F.C.[1][2] Construction of the stadium started in 2016 with the final opening coming in 2017. The name is taken from the main sponsor of the site, Flamingo Land, which is off the A169 road between Malton and Pickering.[3][4][5] The first match to be played at the stadium was a friendly on 15 July 2017 versus a Sheffield United XI.[6][7] The stadium originally had a capacity 2,070 people, with 250 seats, but since the building of a new stand in summer 2019, the capacity has increased to 2,833 with 586 seats.[4]
