An ageing but tidy football ground. Great friendly staff.
An entertaining match with 8 goals.
Marked down a star for warm beer and £13 entry a little steep in my opinion.
Only £1 for my 10 year old made it a little easier to swallow though.
Because of the distance we travelled, we decided to buy a ticket with hospitality. ( Pre match meal, half time buffet ). Great decision.
Wonderful friendly club, the chairman and directors hands on, and brilliant ambassadors of their club.
The ground itself, is what football is all about for us middle aged lads. You can sense the history, and be transported back in time. In some ways it will be a shame when it gets replaced in a couple of years time, but you have to go with the times.
For any football fan, a trip to Borough park is an absolute must.👍⚽️ Like it that much, we now go every year !
This was my first visit to Borough Park and it was well worth the journey.
Being a former football league outfit, Workington are still a big club in the context of the NPL Premier Division. Despite this, it still has a strong community and family feel about it.
Borough Park still feels like a football league ground and the spectator accommodation is excellent all round.
Perhaps it's because the locals appreciate that most away supporters will have made a bit of a journey to get there, but the club feels even more friendly and welcoming than the NPL standard.
I'm looking forward to my next visit.
This is a proper old-fashioned football ground and is a superb venue. I've only visited it twice, in 1984 and 2024, and I look forward to seeing it full again for big cup ties.
Dad a season ticket holder and attend with him on occasion.
Fans are brilliant and very welcoming to new fans and away supporters.
Good choice of food n drinks at decent price while watching a good standard of football.
Attended the end of season presentation evening and loved it.
All the staff and volunteers really make this club very very special.
