Quite a neat and tidy stadium, friendly stewards and match day staff. Plenty of seating and cover and a decent covered terrace behind one goal. Looks like a lot if money has been well spent recently new Clubhouse is superb.

As an away supporter first visit here. Ground is accessed through a housing area with off street parking just off town centre. Seems like a posh affluent town so no worries about your car getting chawed. Ground is very much a work in progress, a bit constructed here and a bit there......platying surface not so great. Away supporters are well catered for with a limited hot food menu. Staff and stewards were canny, friendly and helpful. Finally, I'd love it....love it to finish above them in the league as after the game an element of their fans behaved like numpties and neanderthals......

Great place, nice atmosphere. The venue is good, bar staff, and the stewards are helpful. Great place to come and watch a game of football âš½ and can hire the venue for other events i.e.. parties, weddings etc... Also hold different events throughout the year like craft fairs etc...

Only ok because we were segregated, not allowed to use club bar before game! Crowd of only 400 segregation seemed rather harsh, ground much improved from previous visit, chicken balti pie very nice hot chocolate very watery .

History (from Wikipedia)

The club played at Manor Road from their establishment until 1968, when they moved to Buckingham Road, where the players changed in the nearby Plough pub.[8] In 1974 they moved to St. James Park on Churchill Way. Floodlights were installed during the 1988–89 season.[8] During their first spell in the Southern League a 300-seat stand was built on one touchline.[8] The ground currently has a capacity of 3,500, of which 300 is seated and 1,500 covered.[9]
