Went here to see Hearts - Rangers. It’s a great football stadium. Our seats were comfortable but a bit small when you are sitting next to a big guy. The food is what you expect when you are at a football ground.

We stopped over the weekend and had an incredible time. Room was beautiful, staff extremely helpful and took pride in offering a great service. The skyline restaurant food was excellent value, well presented and cooked to perfection. breakfast was huge and the team who work in the mornings just so helpful. A super stay, Thankyou and we will be back soon. Special thank you to Billie a little gem at breakfast time.

Went there for a game as my father was a boyhood fan and to soak in the atmosphere which was brilliant to see the fans getting behind Hearts as they are struggling this season However had to laugh at the Gorgie Ultras all 20 of them !!!! Really sad

Nice ground , could use a bit of renovating . Seats are a tad uncomfortable and suited for smaller people to be seated . Getting into the ground was quite efficient even minutes before kickoff . Unfortunately alcohol is not permitted in the ground at all so if you enjoy an adult beverage you better get to a local pub early as they are all quite full before kickoff .

Purchased first season tickets in 2007 after going for 3 years for myself & family for home games & travelled away watching Hearts until Covid19 & now back on the waiting list. I was treated to an afternoon at Tynecastle in May 2024 on the pitch to watch walking football. My mobility isn't what it should be, but I made it up to where I used to sit in the main stand until 2020. What can I write about my experience at Tynecastle? There is no other stadium like this on earth, I have found that it matches the same atmosphere on match day. Tickets reasonably priced, decent food at kiosks & helpful staff. Overall, a great afternoon out for the family. It's safe to say, and I think I can speak for us all that we love this place ❤️ HHGH

History (from Wikipedia)

Tynecastle is an all-seated stadium, split into four sections known as the Gorgie Stand, Main Stand, Wheatfield Stand and Roseburn Stand. The Main Stand was rebuilt in 2017, replacing an older facility designed by noted football stadium architect Archibald Leitch.[5] The three other stands were constructed between 1994 and 1997, with all having a distinctive goalpost roof structure made out of steel tubes.[14] Unusually, the framework sits at the front of each stand, which means that the support towers sit within 10 yards of the corner flag, forming an arch over the stand.[14] The stadium floodlights sit on top of the support towers, angled down towards the pitch, like the lighting rigs used at concerts.[14] The Wheatfield Stand, which seats just under 6,000 people, slopes at just under 34 degrees, the maximum angle permitted.[15] The Roseburn Stand (School End) was completed in August 1995 and cost £1.4 million to build.[15] The Roseburn Stand seated 3,676 when it was opened,[15] but 280 seats were removed from both it and the Gorgie Stand when the pitch was lengthened in 2005 to meet UEFA requirements.[16] The Gorgie Stand, which was completed in September 1997, contains the Gorgie Suite.[16]
