A nice, small and modern stadium with great facilities. Enjoyed the Edinburgh City v Stranraer match with plenty of goals. The ground felt like if I was watching a Bostik league game back in England.

Great Sunday afternoon session with excellent rock band (Highway Jones) performing high-quality cover songs. Great drinks prices, packed house, friendly staff and great crowd. All-in-all, a really enjoyable afternoon/early evening. A must go to in the future.

Constantly playing music that can be heard loudly on the other side of the park. This disrupts the lives of all the people living around it. Not to mention the amount of trouble this place attracts, can't tell you how many times I've woken up to find the police with the street cordoned off. Why it has not been shut down I don't know.

History (from Wikipedia)

Meadowbank Stadium (officially the Meadowbank Sports Centre) is a multi-purpose sports facility located in the Meadowbank area of Edinburgh, Scotland. Built on the site of the earlier New Meadowbank and Old Meadowbank sports venues, it was originally built to host the 1970 Commonwealth Games. It also hosted the Games in 1986, becoming the first venue to host the Games twice. It is the current home of Scottish League One side F.C. Edinburgh.
