Seeing that I live next door to the Football club, Google asks me to review it pretty much every morning!! So here goes!!…. In 36 years of living in Hartley Wintney, I’ve only ever twice set foot in the place!! Once for a 21st birthday party, and once for a funeral wake!! Seems nice, but I loath football so all in all I’m probably not the ideal person to conduct such a review!! It’s practically impossible to drive down green lane on match day due to a million and three cars being parked the entire length of the road. The floodlights are extremely annoying at night, and the language (shouting) from players during a game is unnecessary and embarrassing if you have friends visiting (The Football Club Needs a Swear Jar…… You’d Make Hundreds!)

Really nice ground and facilities that were clearly enjoyed by the home support. Good, friendly hosts who thoroughly deserved their victory. A good experience for Follands with hopefully lessons learnt.

My first visit to Hartley Wintney. I went as a neutral for a league game. Warm welcome from stewards and the additional security that had been brought in. Good game, keenly contested by both sides. Lovely club house, which was a welcome few minutes of warmth on a very cold day.
