Ground improvements help spectators but limited accommodation under cover. Artificial playing surface. Free parking on site but can be a bit slow to exit. Food option quite limited but bar has no limit on where drinks can be taken in the ground. No easy access by public transport.

Excellent ground in a lovely setting, a must visit for all ground hoppers or non league football fans. Always an enjoyable visit with Guiseley.

Morpeth is certainly a gem of a football outpost. I attended yesterday to watch them play a team from my original roots, Ashton United. The ground is in the countryside within a very picturesque setting. The clubhouse contains TV football screens and the usual Geordie warmth. The game finished 3-3 and was a very watchable and competitive game. This is far detached from the current premier league experience involving vulgar monopoly money clubs such as Manchester City and Newcastle. I was very impressed with the standard of the officials, a division below my usual diet of National League North watching my beloved Curzon Ashton. I would also recommend that anyone planning on visiting Craig Park to get a taxi as there are no footpaths on the roads approaching the ground. Dave Buckley

We attended here as part of a wedding party. The service at the bar was prompt and efficient. The music from the band was a little loud for my ears, couldn't hear the table conversation, so made use of the large balcony area outside, which overlooked a very impressive football pitch. Parking at the front door was a little awkward by the look of it but we'd arrived via taxi, so not an issue.

Came as an away supporter with Sheffield FC and I must admit they have a great set up. Every one seemed friendly, great little club house, queue was served quickly and the team itself looked really good for this level. They came last year and are going up again this year. I can see Morpeth knocking on the door off the football league if they keep up the hard work.

History (from Wikipedia)

Ground[edit]

The club initially played at Stobhill Cricket Field, before moving to Storey Park in 1954.[4] In 1994 they relocated to Craik Park, named for W and R Craik, who had been the club's secretaries between 1920 and 1985.[4] Craik Park had been built in 1972 as an athletics venue with a 6-lane cinder track, which was used for training by Morpeth Harriers & AC.[5] After the football club moved to the ground, they built a 100-seat stand and a new clubhouses, as well as erecting floodlights.[5]
